COURSE SUMMARY:
This course is aimed at total beginners to family history,
with no previous experience of online resources
It will give you an overview
of the things to consider before starting to research your
family history, how to get started and what online resources
may be useful
(If you have a current
library card registered to your current address, it may be
possible to gain access to ancestry.com website for you to see
the features they offer)
At the start of the session,
an online registration will have to be completed to access the
course, so basic IT Skills will be required.
Your knowledge will be
checked at the end of the course with a short quiz (only for
fun, but you may gain a certificate for your wall!!)
