COURSE
SUMMARY:
This course is designed for the complete beginner—even if you
don’t yet own a camera! The software used is Picasa 2, a
fantastic image processing and management program you can
download at home. The course is the first of 3 digital
photography workshops that can be taken in isolation or as a
set.
Subjects covered:
· Choosing a camera.
· Setting up your camera effectively.
· Downloading and installing Picasa 2
· Moving images from your camera to your computer.
Finding all the pictures on your computer.
· Creating slide shows of your pictures.
· Trimming and printing your pictures.
WHAT
ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
Basic keyboard and mouse skills are essential. If you are not
familiar with using a computer try one of our IT Taster courses
where you can learn the basics for FREE.
Please inform Learning4Life at the time of booking if you have
any special needs or requirements.
DO I NEED ANYTHING
FOR THE FIRST CLASS?
Please could students bring along their own digital cameras if
they have them, together with any leads they use to download
pictures from their camera.
