COURSE SUMMARY:
This course is approved by the Health and Safety Executive as the nationally recognised qualification in First Aid in the workplace. Students learn a wide range of skills involved in first aid:

  • regulations in the workplace
  • action in an emergency
  • breathing and circulation disorders

  • resuscitation
    		•
  • wounds and bleeding
    		•
  • burns and scalds
    		•
  • different dressings and bandage application.

  • Other First Aid relevant to your workplace

    CAN I OBTAIN A QUALIFICATION?  H.S.E. First Aid At Work Certificate.

    HOW ARE THE CANDIDATES ASSESSED FOR A QUALIFICATION?
     Students receive ongoing assessment with a final assessment by an independent assessor the last day of the course.
