COURSE
SUMMARY:
It is
proven that many potentially damaging fires are extinguished
in their early stages by trained employees using portable
fire extinguishers. Incorrect use of portable fire
extinguishers by untrained staff can add to the danger of a
fire.
A typical course will cover:
Actions to take in the event of a fire
Fire Alarms
Fire Safety Signs
The Chemistry of Fire
Fire Extinguishers (water, dry powder, foam and carbon
dioxide)
