COURSE SUMMARY:
The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is the European-wide qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills.  ECDL consists of seven modules:

  • Introduction to Computers
  • Presentation
  • Word Processing
  • Database
  • Spreadsheets
  • Using IT
  • Information and Communication
 

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
Level One course (eg. CLAIT or RSA 1)  or equivalent experience, i.e. knowledge of a keyboard, mouse and Windows.

CAN I OBTAIN A QUALIFICATION? European Computer Driving Licence.

HOW ARE THE CANDIDATES ASSESSED FOR A QUALIFICATION?  For each module you study you will be expected to complete a 45 minute assessment.

HOW LONG DOES THE COURSE LAST?
Anything from 6 months to 12 months.
