COURSE AIMS:
Familiarise students with learning4life's computer system
Explain how to use the keyboard and mouse
Familiarise students with Windows XP and file management so
they can create a folder and save files
Explain the Word Processing program so that the students are
able to insert clipart into a document, apply formatting to
text and save and print the document.
Familiarise students with the internet, so they are able to
demonstrate how to navigate web pages, perform searches and
bookmark a web page
Familiarise students with using Email via Outlook Express so
they have sent, received and forwarded an email with an
attachment
COURSE
DESCRIPTION:
If you are new
to computing then this is the course for you. This
short course gives you the opportunity to explore the basics
of using a computing in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Overcome your fears of using a computer and learning a new
subject in groups of no more than 10. Your tutor is
qualified and always at hand to help you. Go on give it
a try, what have you got to lose!
