COURSE AIM:
To give learners the knowledge to decorate items of canal ware with canal art roses, daisies and castles

COURSE SUMMARY:
Canal art roses and castles for beginners.  Painting canal art roses and daises using enamel paint and signwriter's brushes in various patterns.  Paint a canal art castle scene with a castle, land, mountains, water, trees and bushes in the traditional manner and then decorate suitable items of canal ware with roses and castles.

You will learn about the traditions of canal art painting, looking at old Masters' works and the history of canal culture. 

 Session 1 - Paint roses on paper for practice

 Session 2 - Paint roses on a plastic cauldron

 Session 3 - Decorate a suitable item of canal ware with roses and castles

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
This course is for anyone of any age who wishes to pursue canal art painting.  There is no need for the learner to be good at art or have any previous experience in painting.
