COURSE SUMMARY:
With little or no previous experience of computers learn how to get online and start to use the web safely and effectively.

The E World journey involves learning to:
  • handle files
  • create documents
  • browse the Internet
  • use email
  • use keyword searches
  • planning and arranging a day out
  • keep in touch with friends
  • shop on the internet and MORE!

    This is a 21hr course. The first 6 hrs are delivered by a tutor at set times: 2 hrs for 3 wks. The remaining 15 hrs will be studied at a time and pace to suit you in a Flexible Learning Centre (FLC) at Wordsley School.  Help will be at hand to support your learning. The course includes assessments and a certificate on completion.

    WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
    Must be able to use the mouse and keyboard

    HOW LONG DOES THE COURSE LAST?

    2pm till 4pm for 3 weeks and then times to suit you.
    OR
    6pm till 8pm for 3 weeks and then times to suit you.

    DO I NEED ANYTHING FOR THE FIRST CLASS?

    A pen and notepad may be useful.
