ADULT LITERACY AND NUMERACY QUALIFICATION

(Last Updated 7/12/2011)

COURSE AIMS:

This course aims to improve your English and Maths and achieve a nationally recognised qualification equivalent to GCSE.

COURSE SUMMARY:

If you need help with your reading and writing, or with using numbers, then we've got the qualifications that could give you a real boost. You're not alone - one in five adults finds it difficult to use English or maths in everyday situations. You certainly won’t be the first person we've helped in this area.

Our certificates in Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy are nationally recognised qualifications. Adult Literacy will help you to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening. Adult Numeracy will help you to make sense of maths and numbers in everyday situations.

Students complete a diagnostic that highlights areas for improvements.  A tailored programme of study is generated to improve students  knowledge and to help them achieve certification.
